In 2005, MAPgroup documented the rural community of St Arnaud, a former gold mining town in north-western Victoria. The photographs from this visit were exhibited locally and donated back to the town to keep as a visual archive. A decade later, in 2015, MAPgroup returned to see what had changed, and spent several days photographing in the region.
MAPgroup is excited to announce that this new body of work will be exhibited at the Community Meeting Room and Perry Room of the St Arnaud Shire Offices, with the opening on Saturday 3 February at 1.30pm. All welcome.
Outside of the official opening, the exhibition can be viewed over the weekend from 10am – 5pm on Saturday 3 February and 10am – 3pm on Sunday 4 February.
