NICOLA DRACOULIS
A graduate of the London College of Communication’s MA in Photojournalism, Nicola Dracoulis is a Melbourne-based portrait and social documentary photographer.
Drawn to focusing on emergent generations, addressing issues of representation and celebrating the subtleties of the human experience and the richness of life, she has ongoing long-term projects in the UK, Brazil and Australia.
Nicola has been a finalist in a number of awards including the Lucie/APA Scholarship in 2014, the Lucie Emerging Scholarship in 2015, the 7th Julia Margaret Cameron Awards in 2015, the National Photographic Portrait Prize in 2016 and she was a semi-finalist in the Head On Portrait Prize in 2016.
