ALAN ATTWOOD
Alan Attwood was born in Scotland but has lived much of his life in Melbourne. He is a journalist, writer and author but has also been taking photographs for almost 50 years. His photographs have appeared in publications ranging from Time, The Age, Sydney Morning Herald and The Big Issue. He also has work in the collection of the National Library of Australia. In photographs, as in writing, Alan believes in simplicity and avoiding gimmicks. Over the past decade he has been involved in many MAPgroup projects and exhibitions, including Ballarat, Murrindindi, Melbourne laneways and the return to analogue show.
